Top secret America

More than a dozen Washington Post journalists spent two years developing “Top Secret America,” an investigative story that describes the national security buildup in the U.S. after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. The project included a number of data-driven interactive graphics that are highly immersive, visually descriptive, and elegant.
